چکیده

In this paper, the design of linear amplifiers for current sources with very low, or voltage sources with very high impedance is discussed. In designing negative-feedback amplifiers for these sources, the loopgain is often low as a result of the source impedance, thus making it difficult to obtain a sufficiently high bandwidth. Here, it is proposed to use CB or CC stages in front of a negative-feedback amplifier. It turns out that the use of these stages does not have to have large detrimental effects on noise or distortion properties, while providing a good means to achieve a higher bandwidth. Moreover, the system becomes more robust to source parameter variations. Keywords— linear amplifiers, bandwidth optimization, structured electronic design

Grid Impedance Estimation Using Several Short-Term Low Power Signal Injections

In this paper, a signal processing method is proposed to estimate the low and high-frequency impedances of power systems using several short-term low power signal injections for a frequency range of 0-150 kHz. This frequency range is very important, and thusso it is considered in the analysis of power quality issues of smart grids. The impedance estimation is used in many power system applicati...

Study and Analysis of A Simple Self Cascode Regulated Cascode Amplifier

This article proposed a simple self cascode RGC amplifier configuration to increase the gain and bandwidth. The cascode amplifier eliminates the miller capacitance between input and output and facilitates high gain, high input and output impedance with high bandwidth. However, the cascode amplifier requires relatively high supply voltage for proper operation and it decreases the output voltage ...

A Novel Low Input Impedance Low Power Fully Differential Current Buffer with ±0.65V Supply Voltage and high bandwidth of 520MHz

A new fully differential (FD) low input impedance CMOS current buffer with low voltage, and low power operation is presented. The low input impedance is achieved by remarkable reduction of the input node voltage swing using a novel double feedback scheme. Some advantages of the proposed double feedback scheme over the conventional (either positive or negative) feedback techniques are: lower inp...

Audio signal preamplifiers (preamps) represent the low-level end of the dynamic range of practical audio circuits using modern IC devices. In general, amplifying stages with input signal levels of 10mV or less fall into the preamp category. This section discusses some basic types of audio preamps, which are: ■ Microphone— including preamps for dynamic, electret and phantom powered microphones, ...

An Ultra High CMRR Low Voltage Low Power Fully Differential Current Operational Amplifier (COA)

this paper presents a novel fully differential (FD) ultra high common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) current operational amplifier (COA) with very low input impedance. Its FD structure that attenuates common mode signals over all stages grants ultra high CMRR and power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) that makes it suitable for mixed mode and accurate applications. Its performance is verified by HSPI...
